Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Aezae Corp (“Zae,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, www.aezae.io (the “Site”), and the equivalent device technologies used in our mobile application (the “App”).
This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information more broadly.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your browser or device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site owners about how their site is being used.
Similar technologies include:
Local storage and session storage — browser storage that holds small amounts of data on your device, often without using a traditional cookie.
Pixels and web beacons — tiny invisible images used to detect whether a page or email was opened.
Mobile SDK identifiers — resettable identifiers used inside apps, where cookies do not exist. These are covered in Section 5 below.
Throughout this policy, we use “cookies” as shorthand for all of these technologies.
2. Our approach: privacy by default
Zae is built around sensitive biological, reproductive, and clinical data. That makes our approach to tracking deliberately conservative:
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on our Site.
We do not sell or share Site visitor data with data brokers or ad networks.
No health, biological, reproductive, hormonal, or clinical data is ever placed in a cookie or transmitted to any analytics or advertising partner.
Our website analytics provider is configured to operate without cookies and without building a cross-site profile of you.
3. Cookies and storage used on our website
Our Site is built and hosted on Framer (Framer B.V.). The technologies in use are limited to the following:
Category | Provider | Purpose | Uses a cookie? | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Strictly Necessary | Framer (hosting & CDN) | Serves pages, balances load, protects against abuse and denial-of-service traffic, and preserves basic session integrity while you browse. | Technical storage only; no identifying cookie is set on page load. | Session / transient |
Preferences | Framer | Remembers lightweight interface state such as a dismissed banner or a selected tab, so the Site behaves consistently as you navigate. | Browser local storage | Until you clear browser storage |
Analytics (anonymous) | Framer Analytics | Counts page views, referral sources, and approximate country so we can understand which pages are useful. Data is aggregated and anonymous. | No. Framer Analytics is a cookieless measurement tool and does not track you across other websites. | Aggregated; no individual profile retained |
We currently run no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no advertising cookies, and no third-party marketing trackers on the Site.
If this changes. If we ever introduce cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this policy, bump the “Last Updated” date, and — for visitors in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and other regions that require it — present a consent banner that asks for your permission before those cookies are set.
4. Third-party links and embedded content
Our Site links to third-party destinations, including the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store, and our social media profiles. It may also embed content such as videos.
Once you follow a link or interact with embedded content, that third party may set its own cookies, which are governed by their policies, not ours. We have no control over these cookies. We encourage you to review the cookie and privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
5. The Zae mobile app: device identifiers instead of cookies
Mobile apps do not use cookies. Instead, the App relies on a small number of software development kits (“SDKs”) that use device or installation identifiers. Here is the complete list:
Technology | Provider | Purpose | Applies to |
|---|---|---|---|
Firebase Analytics | Measures anonymous, aggregated feature usage (for example, how many users opened the Nutrition tab) so we can improve the product. | All users | |
Firebase Crashlytics | Captures crash and error diagnostics so we can fix stability bugs. | All users | |
RevenueCat | RevenueCat, Inc. | Maintains an anonymous app user ID so your Premium entitlement is recognized and restored across your devices. | All users |
Google AdMob advertising identifier (Apple IDFA / Google Advertising ID) | Serves and measures third-party advertisements. | Free-tier users only |
Critical safeguard: the events sent to Firebase Analytics are filtered before transmission to strip personal and health attributes, and no health, biological, reproductive, hormonal, or clinical data is ever sent to Google AdMob or any advertising partner. Premium subscribers see no third-party advertisements, and no advertising identifier is collected from them for ad-serving purposes.
6. How to control cookies and identifiers
On our website
You can control or delete cookies and local storage directly in your browser. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or clear existing storage:
Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Because our Site uses only strictly necessary and cookieless analytics technologies, blocking storage will not break core functionality, though some interface preferences may not persist between visits.
In the Zae app
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → toggle off for Zae. You may also be asked for this permission directly in the App via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt.
Android: Settings → Google → Ads → “Delete advertising ID” or “Opt out of Ads Personalization.”
Opting out does not remove advertisements from the free tier — it only makes them less relevant to your interests. Upgrading to a Premium subscription permanently removes all third-party advertisements from your account.
Global privacy signals
Where legally required, we honor browser-based opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).
7. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is still no agreed industry standard for how sites should respond to DNT. Because we do not operate cross-site advertising or behavioral tracking on our Site, our practices already align with the intent of a DNT signal regardless of whether you send one.
8. Children
We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13, and we do not direct cookies or advertising identifiers at children. Our advertising partner, Google AdMob, is configured with tagForChildDirectedTreatment disabled and a content rating capped at “PG,” consistent with our 13+ minimum age requirement.
9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in applicable law. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes that introduce non-essential cookies will additionally be accompanied by a consent request where required by law.
