Account & Data Deletion Request
Request permanent deletion of your ZAE account and all associated biological and health data. Learn our transparent 30-day data deletion policy.

At ZAE, your biological data belongs to you. This deletion policy exists because we want you to feel completely in control of your information at every stage of your journey with us. Whether you're taking a break or moving on, the process is simple, transparent, and final.
Our 30-Day Deletion Commitment
Upon receiving your request, Aezae Corp will permanently and irrevocably delete your account and all associated personal, health, biological, and clinical data from our active servers within **30 days**. This commitment mirrors the deletion policy set out in our [Privacy Policy](/privacy-policy).
What we delete
When you request deletion, the following categories are permanently removed:
• Personal profile data; name, email, age, gender, demographic information
• Health & wellness data; workout history, sleep patterns, hydration logs, nutrition logs, body composition (weight, height, body fat), and all metabolic metrics
• Reproductive & biological data; menstrual cycle history, pregnancy and trimester data, postpartum recovery markers, lactation status, and menopausal or hormonal transition data
• Clinical health records & uploaded documents; laboratory results, ICD-10-coded conditions, RxNorm-coded medications, immunization records, allergies, and any medical files (such as PDF lab results) you uploaded. These are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM with Google Cloud KMS envelope encryption and are purged from all active storage within 30 days.
• Third-party device data; any data synced from Apple Health, Google Fit, Health Connect, Fitbit, Oura, or other connected wearables
• Social & Tribe data; your connections, posts, messages, and challenge participation history
• Calendar event metadata; any opt-in calendar timestamps stored to schedule wellness recommendations (note: we never stored your event titles, attendees, locations, or notes)
• Hashed contact identifiers; any SHA-256 hashes generated for friend discovery (we never stored raw contact names, phone numbers, or email addresses)
• AEUREI in-app reward balance and history; AEUREI rewards have no monetary or cash value and cannot be exchanged for legal tender; upon deletion, all reward balances and associated history are permanently erased
• Advertising identifiers; for free-tier users, the device advertising identifier (Apple IDFA or Google Advertising ID) associated with your account is removed from our records
What we keep
In limited circumstances, we retain narrow categories of data after deletion:
Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot be linked back to you or any identifiable user, used solely to improve our biological algorithms.
Records required by law — for example, financial transaction records associated with subscription payments, retained only for the period required by applicable tax and accounting regulations.
We do not retain your personal identity, your health data, your biological
data, or your clinical records beyond the 30-day deletion window.
How to request deletion
You can request account and data deletion in three ways:
1. In the App (Full Account Deletion)
Open the ZAE app and navigate to:
Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete Account
This will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
2. Revoke Clinical Integration Only
If you only want to remove clinical health records (Apple Health Clinical
Records, connected healthcare provider data, or uploaded medical files) without
deleting your full account, navigate to:
Settings → Connected Devices → Revoke Clinical Integration
This immediately stops new clinical data ingestion and triggers permanent
deletion of all stored clinical records and uploaded medical files within
30 days. Your wellness, biological, and social data remain intact.
3. By Email
Send a deletion request to support@aezae.io from
the email address associated with your ZAE account. Please include:
Your account email address
The type of deletion requested (full account, or clinical records only)
We will confirm receipt within 48 hours and complete permanent deletion
within 30 days.
Advertising & Personalization Choices
If you're a free-tier user and want to limit advertising personalization without deleting your account:
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → toggle off for ZAE
Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out
of Ads Personalization"
Opting out limits ad personalization but does not remove ads from the free tier.
Upgrading to a Premium subscription permanently removes all third-party
advertisements from your account.
Users Under 13
ZAE is not intended for users under the age of 13. If you believe a child under
13 has created an account, please contact support@aezae.io with the subject line "Underage Account — Urgent" and we will prioritize permanent deletion within 72 hours of verification.
